About Logan Cook
For more than eight years, I’ve been in the thick of what it actually takes to build something. I started my first business at sixteen, led a sales team, taught business, and sold alongside other entrepreneurs. Over six years, I also taught in about a dozen congregations across Texas, California, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Idaho, including a two-year mission in California with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where sixty-plus-hour weeks shaped how I serve and teach to this day. Through all of it, one thread held: I was building things, and I was teaching people how to build something that lasts.
What I didn’t plan for was Complex Dysautonomia — a condition that forced me out of my career almost overnight. It pulled me away from the work I loved, put me in a wheelchair, and created more uncertainty than I’d ever faced. It also raised a question I couldn’t ignore: if everything I’d built could disappear that fast, what was actually worth building?
In that forced stillness, I stopped looking for the next opportunity and came back to something I’d always known. Not a new strategy or system — a return to the principles that had been true all along. My faith was at the center of it. Stripped of the noise, I found that purpose was never something I had to go discover out there. It was something to return to, and align with, every single day.
That return sent me back to a calling I’d carried for years — writing, serving the business community, and helping everyday people come back to the principles of real, lasting success. Compass Results is that calling, finally moving forward. It exists to give the person building something of their own — the small business owner, the entrepreneur, the one doing the hard, quiet work — a real shot at building it on a foundation that holds.
I’m currently writing my first book, The Point of Purpose: A Return to Alignment — working through the core frameworks of purpose, meaning, and what it actually takes to build traction in your everyday life. It’s the same foundation the Compass Results coaching is built on.
And I don’t do this work alone. I’m completing my certification as a John Maxwell Coach, Speaker & Trainer, and I’m sharpened by mentors I trust — Roddy Galbraith in speaking, Mark Cole in leadership, Valorie Burton in coaching, and Chris Robinson in business building and sales. Deep roots before wide reach isn’t just something I teach. It’s how I’m building this.
What I believe
The principles behind the work
Purpose isn’t found — it’s returned to. You don’t need a new identity. You need to come back into alignment with the one you already have.
Principles outlast hype. No quick fixes, no hype cycles — just the fundamentals, applied honestly to your actual life and business.
The small guy deserves a real shot. The owner doing the hard, quiet work deserves the same clarity and tools as anyone at the top.
Build what lasts. Deep roots before wide reach. Alignment before balance. Something built to endure, not just to impress.
