Bios

Long bio  ·  For podcast show notes, event programs, press features

Logan Cook is an author, speaker, and founder of Compass Results — a personal development platform built around one conviction: that real, lasting success comes not from finding your Purpose, but from returning to alignment with it. For more than eight years Logan worked as an entrepreneur and sales professional, building businesses and developing a framework he believed could change how people approached their lives and work. When a rare autonomic nervous system condition forced him out of the workforce almost overnight, everything he had built his identity around disappeared — and the real work began. What followed was a two-year journey of reinvention, redirection, and hard-won clarity that became the foundation of his upcoming book and the Compass Results community. His work sits at the intersection of purpose, meaning, and practical results — drawing on personal experience, business principles, and a deep faith that has shaped every chapter of his story. Logan is the author of Point of Purpose, currently in development, and speaks to leadership teams, congregations, and organizations ready to come back to the principles that build something that lasts.

Short bio  ·  For introductions, social profiles, quick references

Logan Cook is the founder of Compass Results and the author of Point of Purpose — a forthcoming book on Purpose, Meaning, and real-world results. After a rare health condition forced everything to stop, he came back to what he’d always known he was here to do — and built a practical framework for returning to alignment and building something that actually lasts.

Key talking points

1

Purpose has two jobs — most people only know one.

Most people understand Purpose as motivation — what gets you moving. But its second job is focus: it tells you where to go. Without both, you burn fuel without ever coming back to the direction you were meant to travel.

2

Motivation runs dry. Motive doesn’t have to.

The difference between motivation — which is seasonal — and motive — which is structural — is the difference between a barrel of rainwater and a well. One runs out. The other keeps giving.

3

Not all Purpose is created equal.

The Gradient of Purpose — four levels from Survival to Meaning — shows why some people achieve everything they wanted and still feel empty, and how to build toward a life that’s both successful and significant.

4

Distraction is rarely obvious — it usually looks like Purpose.

The Purpose Impostors — status, misaligned goals, life roles, and perfectionism — are convincing because they resemble real Purpose from a distance. Learning to tell them apart changes everything.

5

The hardest seasons are often redirections, not dead ends.

Logan’s own two-year journey taught him that what looks like collapse is often course correction — and that the clarity found in hard seasons is the kind that actually lasts.
